There are signs and instructions along the nine-hole course that starts by the pavilion next to the lake, goes across the open area of the park, through part of the woods and back across the park where it began.
Disc golf is played much like traditional golf. Players use a flying disc or Frisbee® instead of balls and clubs with the object of completing each hole in the fewest number of throws. The "hole" is an elevated metal basket. Disc golf offers year-round fun and fitness and is designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages. It only takes one disc for basic play and the cost is minimal ($10 - $15).
